First Faroese whisky hits the shelves

Klaksvík-based brewery Føroya Bjór today released its first batch of Faroese whisky.

Alcohol stores across the country received a total of 861 bottles, which were sold for DKK 1,100 each.

This relatively high price tag did not, however, seem to deter customers as all the bottles were sold out by the end the day.
