Fifty-one new Covid cases
There are currently 450 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Yesterday’s 2,628 Covid tests resulted in 51 positive cases, reports corona.fo.

All have been notified by the health authorities, and contact tracing is underway.

Five people are receiving Covid treatment in hospital, and a total of ten Covid-related fatalities have been registered.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 47, 48, 48, 29, 35, 27 and 51.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 91.3 percent of the 12+ population have received the first shot of the vaccine, 86.3 percent have received the second shot and 8.1 percent have received a third booster shot.
