106 new Covid cases
Yesterday’s 1,688 Covid tests resulted in 106 positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.
All have been notified by the health authorities and contact tracing is underway.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 100, 82, 65, 76, 30, 4 and 106.
There are currently 469 active Covid cases in the country, and two people are receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19.
Yesterday’s high number of positive tests is mainly a result of limited testing activity over the holidays, says chief medical officer Lars Fodgaard Møller.
