Long before there was any talk of a Faroese film industry, director Katrin Ottarsdóttir was creating movie gems such as "Atlantic Rhapsody" and "Maðurin ið slapp at fara".
And now, her most famous film, "Bye Bye Blue Bird" has been made available to the masses through HBO Max.

"Bye Bye Blue Bird" is a road movie about Rannvá and Barbara, who visit the Faroes after having lived abroad for many years.
Their drive through the islands represents the personal journey they are going through.
