Lowest unemployment on record

There is work for everyone as the unemployment rate reaches all-time low of 0.5 percent, down from 0.9 percent in September last year, reports Statistics Faroe Islands.
A total of 150 people are full-time unemployed, 90 men and 60 women.
Eysturoy and Vágar have the lowest unemployment rate at 0.2 percent and Suðuroy has the highest at 1.1 percent.
In September, 29 people had been unemployed for more than one year. A person is regarded as unemployed if he or she is registered as unemployed with the Faroese unemployment system or the social welfare services, fully available to the job market and actively seeking work.
