Worn-out Eysturoy road fixed soon
DKK 5 million has been set aside, and work will begin this year
The road by Kambsdalur is causing headaches for residents in the area

Residents in the Gøta/Kambsdalur/Fuglafjørður region have for some time been complaining about poor road maintenance.
The stretch outside Kambsdalur is in a particularly poor condition. It was recently announced that nothing could be done to solve the problem this year as the entire 2022 asphalt budget had been spent.
But now DKK 5 million has been earmarked for this work, and road authority Landsverk has now tendered the work of repairing the road.
The tender deadline is 21 November, and work is expected to start shortly after this date.
