Applications open for Christmas support
The annual Christmas charity concert in aid of cash-strapped families with young children in the Faroes will take place at Tórshavn’s Vesturkirkjan church tonight at 8pm.
The concert is the main source of income for child care agency Barnabati, which has since 2016 been offering Christmas support to families struggling to make ends meet financially.

Individuals and businesses also contribute with donations, and all this money is distributed to families who apply for Christmas support.
Applications will be open from tonight until 8 December at 8pm.
