Klaksvík’s big music festival has been cancelled for the second year running

The Summer Festival, scheduled for 5-7 August in Klaksvík, has been called off due to Covid uncertainties.
“It’s difficult to predict whether we can gather large crowds in early August, so we have decided to cancel,” says festival CEO Erik Biskopstø.

“Summar Festivalurin is a massive event with lots of people involved, and it no longer makes sense to continue with our preparations knowing that we might have to make last-minute cancellations. It’s simply too risky.”
Ticket refund details will be posted soon on the festival’s website.
