All rooms for homeless people were occupied throughout last year

The homeless shelter in Tórshavn and the Gloria care home in Klaksvík were both filled to capacity throughout 2022.
Figures from Statistics Faroe Islands show that all 27 rooms at the homeless shelter in Tórshavn and Gloria in Klaksvík were occupied almost every day of last year.

Some months last year, the overnight shelters had to take out extra mattresses as there were not enough rooms for everyone.
