A new poll indicates that voters are turning away from the government parties.

The latest spyr.fo poll, commissioned by online news magazine Vikuskifti, suggests that Javnaðarflokkurin (Social Democrats) and Framsókn (Progress Party) would lose one seat each if an election were held today. Tjóðveldi (Republicans) would retain its six seats.

The two lost seats would go to Fólkaflokkurin (People’s Party), while the other opposition parties, Sambandsflokkurin (Union Party) and Miðflokkurin (Central Party), would retain their seats.

Poll (vs general election 2022):

• Fólkaflokkurin 8 (6)

• Sambandsflokkurin 7 (7)

• Javnaðarflokkurin 8 (9)

• Tjóðveldi 6 (6)

• Framsókn 2 (3)

• Miðflokkurin 2 (2)
