Two arrested on assault charges

At around 3am on Sunday morning, a man punched another man in Tórshavn city centre.

In a separate incident some 30 minutes later, a man reportedly head-butted and punched three people outside a restaurant.

Both suspects have been charged with battery and assault.

At around 5:30am, a car crashed into a house on J.C. Svabosgøta in Tórshavn. The driver was over the drink-drive limit and has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
