SEV has been granted a loan raising authority to expand its network and to bid on upcoming windmill farms.

It is believed that this may result in a price increase of DKK 0.0625 including VAT.
Earlier this year, SEV was given permission to set up a windmill farm near Porkeri, Suðuroy. The company has also been planning to set up a pump system in Vestmanna, but this plan has been put on hold for now.
Increased activities
SEV recently received an approval from the Environment Agency to increase the price of electricity.
Over the past two years, SEV has lowered its prices by DKK 0.10, but now the need has arisen to increase the prices again. The reason, the committee says, is the company’s big expansion projects, along with an increased demand for electricity.
