The new á Skúlatrøð school in Klaksvík will be ready in January, and teaching will start in late March/early April.
With a total project cost of DKK 110 million, this is the largest single construction project that Klaksvík municipality has ever taken on.
In addition to being a new building, the new school is also a merger of two previously independent schools as the former Ósáskúlin, which was completed in 2011, will be merged with the former Ziskatrøð school.
It has taken four years to build the new school.
