Parliament to open without public attendance
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Wednesday’s opening of the new parliamentary session will not be open to the public

27.07.2020 - 09:59

The Speaker of Parliament has announced that the opening of the new parliamentary session will be held behind closed doors due to the current Covid-19 situation.

However, the session will be broadcast on all KvF platforms, i.e. radio, TV and on this website.

The traditional ólavsøka procession will go ahead as usual on Wednesday, but the public will not be allowed to attend the accompanying church service at the Tórshavn cathedral.
