Klaksvík brings back digital daycare registration

Klaksvík brings back digital daycare registration
From Monday, parents in Klaksvík will need to notify daycare centres in advance of their children’s attendance

07.08.2020 - 08:48

The new Covid situation has prompted Klaksvík City Council to reinstate the digital daycare registration system introduced earlier this year.

This system requires parents to notify daycare centres via klaksvik.fo (“Bóka pláss í ansingarskipanini” on the main page) no later than 6pm whether they intend to send their children to daycare the following day.

The parents are required to provide details of their children’s attendance, including specific dates and times for arrival and pickup.

Parents who decide to keep their children at home will be exempt from paying daycare fees.

The City Council encourages parents to keep their children at home until further notice.
