House prices continue to rise
Average house prices across the country increased by 4.9 percent last year

In the capital region, the average house price went up by 5.9 percent to DKK 3.3 million.

The average house price in Klaksvík and in the Eysturoy towns and villages near the entrance of the new subsea tunnel have also gone up to about DKK 2 million last year.

Other parts of Eysturoy had an average house price of DKK 1.5 million.

High demand, limited supply and low interest rates mean that house prices are expected to rise even further this year, according to real estate agent Betri Heim.
