Travellers to pay for Covid tests throughout 2021
Travellers arriving in the Faroes will be required to pay for their own Covid tests for the rest of this year

The law requiring inbound travellers to pay for mandatory Covid-19 tests came into force on 1 October last year and was due to expire on 1 April 2021.

But now the finance ministry wants to extend this requirement to the end of this year.

This means that all incoming travellers aged 12 and above will continue to pay DKK 312 for their tests.

Everyone entering the country since 27 June last year has been tested upon arrival. These mandatory tests were free of charge until 1 October.
