National Hospital ordered to tighten its data security

The National Hospital currently does not have any documented procedures regarding personal data security breaches.

This is problematic, says the Data Protection Agency (DAT), which has now ordered the hospital to implement such procedures.

In this context, personal data breaches include instances in which sensitive personal data is, accidentally or illegally, discarded, lost, altered or passed on without authorisation.
