Eleven people receiving hospital treatment for Covid

October saw a total of 1,025 new Covid cases, which is 46 percent of all positive tests registered since the outset of the pandemic, reports corona.fo.
All 67 people who tested positive yesterday have been notified by the health authorities, and extensive contact tracing is underway.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 65, 68, 84, 81, 71, 63 and 67.
There are currently 730 active Covid cases in the country. Eleven people are receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 682 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.
Problems with digital Covid certificate
The digital Covid passport is currently experiencing some technical issues.
Work is underway to fix the problems.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on today, 39,719 people (74.2 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, 37,836 (70.7 percent) have received the second shot and 1,273 have received the third booster shot.
