Nólsoy ready to welcome thousands

Final preparations are underway for tomorrow’s annual ovastevna village festival in Nólsoy.

Organisers say that this year’s event will be bigger and more varied than ever before.

The harbour area will feature food stalls, an art exhibition, a Christian open-air meeting, stand-up comedy, live music and a big dance tent.

At nightfall, crowds will be gathering for a singalong at the harbour.

For the whole family

The organisers have made every effort to make the event as family-friendly as possible and to keep most activities free of charge.

Tórshavn-Nólsoy ferry ’Ternan’ will be shuttling from 10am on Saturday until the early hours of Sunday morning, roughly one round-trip per hour.

Nice and sunny weather is forecast for Nólsoy tomorrow.
