Customers need to wait a few days longer than normal with the current limitations to air transport, says Posta

Post to and from the Faroes is delayed as a result of the drastic decline in air traffic across the world caused by the Covid pandemic.
“This is a highly unusual situation.” says Joel undir Leitinum, CEO of postal service Posta.
“We apologise for the delays but we just have to ask our customers to be patient.”
The delays affect letters and parcels alike.
Posta is doing what it can to reduce the delays by using sea mail.
