Food hygiene spot checks at festivals
Food stalls at music festivals and other cultural events will now be checked for compliance with hygiene standards

Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority HFS will be conducting unannounced spot checks at food stalls at various cultural events this summer.
Food stall staff will be required to wear clean clothes and have access to toilets with adequate handwashing facilities that are separate from festival visitors.
Inspectors will also be looking at food storage practices.
