281 new university students

281 people began their life as university students at the University of the Faroe Islands yesterday.

This is the first time that the university takes in two classes of pedagogy students, with a total of 44 people enrolled.

Twenty-five new nursing students started yesterday. With the 25 who started in January, this year group now totals 50.

Seventeen students have enrolled in the brand new data science course.

The law course received the most applications this year. Nineteen out of the 57 applicants began their studies yesterday.
