Wi-Fi on Atlantic Airways flights

Atlantic Airways passengers is currently testing new technology which will allow passengers to enjoy free inflight Wi-Fi.

“We are hoping to have it up and running this year,” says Árni Olsen, marketing manager.

Since the new technology does not require any new antennas, ticket prices will not be affected.

The Wi-Fi connection will be low bandwidth, meaning that passengers will not be able to stream or download content while in the air. But Olsen hopes the low bandwidth will be good enough to meet the customers’ needs.
