Parliament last night approved the 2020 state budget at the second reading

Parliament has approved next year’s state budget with all the amendments proposed by the government.
The budget was approved with 17 votes in favour, six against and nine blanks.
All amendment proposals from the opposition parties were voted down.
The 2020 state budget is expected undergo its mandatory third reading later today.
