First positive Covid-19 test since 22 April

After some ten weeks with no Covid-19 cases, a passenger travelling by air to the Faroes yesterday tested positive.

The infected person has been put into quarantine.

According to chief medical officer Lars Fodgaard Møller, it is highly unlikely that the person has infected others on the flight or at the airport.
