Faroese rower just short of second European title

The 27-year-old rower from Miðvágur finished second in today’s final of the European single sculls championships held in Varese, Italy.

This means he failed to defend the European title he won in October last year.

However, he insists he is not disappointed with today’s result.

“This was a good result. My main aim this year is to do well at this summer’s Olympic games in Japan, and I am training hard for that,” he says.
