Covid helpline made redundant

The popular Corona hotline (304040) has been suspended.

After more than 34,000 calls and 3,000 phone hours, the service was taken down yesterday afternoon.

“Our infection rates are low, our vaccination programme is progressing well and we are approaching normality in our society,” the health ministry stated in a press release.

You can still book your testing or vaccination appointments at corona.fo.

No positive Covid tests were registered yesterday. The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 1 and 0.
