Four new Covid cases
Yesterday’s 1,266 Covid tests resulted in four positive cases, reports corona.fo.
Three were infected in the Faroes and are linked to known chains of infection. One tested positive in a follow-up test two days after arriving from abroad.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 9, 12, 13, 8, 12, 8 and 4.
No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 236 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 38,770 people (72.5 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 36,877 (68.9 percent) have received the second shot.
