A series of large and small landslides occurred across the islands yesterday

The small village of Elduvík, Eysturoy, is currently not accessible by road.
A big landslide has left 18 people stuck in the village while rocks are being cleared from the road.
The landslide took out about 200 metres of crash barrier.
