One new Covid case

Yesterday’s round of 784 Covid tests yielded one positive result, reports corona.fo.

The infected person, who tested positive in a follow-up test six days after arrival from abroad, has been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

Over the past week, the daily number of positive tests has been as follows: 0, 1, 0, 0, 2, 0 and 1.

No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 66 people are in quarantine.
