Service delays at GP surgeries and pharmacies

Waiting times at GP surgeries, hospitals and pharmacies will be a bit longer than usual this week.

This is due to upgrades to the digital health service.

While health workers are familiarising themselves with the upgraded system, service times are expected to slow down in the coming days.

Prescription renewals, for instance, will take slightly longer than usual, and the Hospital Service is advising people not to wait until the last minute to renew their prescriptions.
