Police are looking for witnesses after a man was found drowned yesterday afternoon
Police are looking for information from people who have noticed some unusual activity near the large oil tanks at the Port of Tórshavn between 3.30pm and 4.00pm yesterday

A sailor in his 60s was found lifeless in the water by Tórshavn’s western quay near the large oil tanks yesterday afternoon.
The man has been declared drowned, and his family has been informed.
Police are working on a timeline of possible events leading up to the drowning, and anyone who may have relevant information about events in the area between 3.30pm and 4.00pm yesterday is encouraged to contact the police on phone number 351448.
CCTV footage from the area indicates that the man may have tripped while boarding a ship.
