Integration minister goes on paternity leave
Bjarni Kárason Petersen will go on an eight-week paternity leave starting today.
This is the first time that Faroese minister goes on parental leave.
“The first weeks with your newborn child are precious, for fathers and mothers alike. Perhaps fathers are not so good at prioritising this special time. These are priceless moments you never get to experience again, so I have decided to prioritise this time and enjoy it to the fullest,” Petersen writes in a press release.
