Two new GPs appointed

Three applications came in last month when eight general practitioner vacancies were announced.
Two of these applicants will be starting work as GPs early next month.
Davíð Guðnason will start working as a GP in the Suðuroy medical district on 13 March.
Guðnason received his medical degree in 2014. In the past year, he has been undergoing his GP training at Tórshavn’s Gundadalur surgery.

In Tórshavn, Rúni Nolsøe will take up his GP position at the Miðlon surgery on 1 March.
He received his medical degree in 2016. He has been undergoing his GP training at the Miðlon surgery for the past year.
