Reiley wants to conquer Europe

Prior to winning Denmark’s Eurovision final on Saturday, Rani Petersen, aka Reiley, was virtually unknown in Europe.
But, with almost 11 million followers on TikTok, it seems fair to say that he has made a name for himself elsewhere.
“I have always wanted to make music for the European market, but so far it hasn’t amounted to much,” explains the 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Tórshavn.
“I have made record deals in America, I’ve had London-based managers and I’ve done a lot in Asia. Up to now, I’ve never really targeted Europe. But Eurovision certainly opens a few doors.”

Reiley has come a long way and he can expect great success at the Eurovision finals in May, says Hans Edward Andreasen, who participated in the Danish Eurovision Contest in 2008 with his band The Dreams.
“He clearly has star quality,” he says.
He’s young, he’s good looking and the song is great. He’s going to do well.”
Reiley will be performing “Breaking My Heart”, which he wrote together with some friends.
