Trawler to continue fishing with infected crew
Russian Trawler Karelia is heading for further fishing in NEAFC (North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission) waters northeast of the Faroe Islands.
This decision has been made in spite of a spot check of 30 of the total 77 crew resulting in 23 positive Covid-19 tests.

Faroese authorities have urged the ship’s captain to return to Russia immediately due to the possibility of some of the infected sailors needing urgent treatment.
