Klaksvík subsea tunnel closes at night
Traffic will be directed through the tunnel at two-hour intervals at night from this Sunday until Christmas

The ‘Norðoyatunnilin’ subsea tunnel between Leirvík and Klaksvík will be closed at night from 27 November to 22 December between 10pm and 6am.
This is done to allow for repairs to the light and ventilation systems and to smooth out the roof surface.
Traffic will be directed through the tunnel at 11pm, midnight, 2am and 4am.
