Riley prepares for the big stage

”Preparations for the Eurovision final are going well, but we still have some way to go,” says Rani Petersen, also known by his artist name Reiley.
Riley became the first Faroese musician to qualify for the Eurovision final when he won the Danish Eurovision final in February.
“The final in Liverpool will be much bigger and different than the Danish final,” he says.
“The stage in Liverpool is huge, and that’s something we will be using to our advantage in our show.”
A potential winner
Riley is currently touring Europe performing his song "Breaking My Heart" in many of the big Eurovision nations such as Spain, the Netherlands and Israel.
The song has received rave reviews, especially following a recent performance at the Polish Eurovision Party 2023.

Among Reiley’s big fans is Eldar Gasimov, who together with Nigar Jamal won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 representing Azerbaijan. He is convinced that Reiley will win the final in Liverpool.
Reiley will be performing a special Eurovision show in the Faroes on 22 April.
“I lack experience in performing for Faroese crowds, so this show is something I’m really looking forward to,” he says.
