Witness plea after late-night assault

A young man was attacked in Tórshavn’s west end shortly before 4am yesterday morning.

The man was walking home from the city centre when he met four people he did not know, two men and two women, and was attacked by two of them.

The incident left the young man with damaged teeth, a black eye and other minor injuries.

He reported the incident to the police, who are asking anyone with relevant information to call them on 114.
