Three Faroese people are included in the list of the 100 wealthiest people in the Danish Kingdom, published this week by the Økonomisk Ugebrev weekly financial newsletter.

At number 52 on the list are Regin Jacobsen and Oddvør Jacobsen, who own 16 percent of Bakkafrost. Their net worth is listed as DKK 3.8 billion.

This time last year, the newsletter listed their net worth at DKK 5.1 billion meaning that they have dropped 18 places on the list this year.

Number 87 on the list is Rúni Bro Róin, co-founder of renewables fund manager Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) with a net worth of DKK 2.1 billion.

Shipowner Gulak Madsen, who was number 75 on last year’s list, has dropped out of the top 100 this year.

According to the newsletter, Madsen’s net worth has decreased from DKK 2.6 billion last year to DKK 1.7 billion this year.

The top spot on the list belongs to the Kirk Kristiansen family, also known as the LEGO family, who have a combined net worth of DKK 255 billion.
