Filming for Faroese TV drama starts next month
The six-episode crime TV series has a budget of DKK 37 million

Journalist Hannis Martinsson investigates the murder, which sends shockwaves across the Faroese community.

This is the plot of a new Faroese crime TV series, “Trom”, created by Tórfinnur Jákupsson, based on the crime novels of Jógvan Isaksen.

Shooting for the series will take place in the Faroe Islands and is scheduled to start on 15 March.

”We expect to complete the filming by early July, and we’re aiming to finish the series by the end of this year,” says series producer Jón Hammer.

The plan is to create another six episodes, with shooting scheduled for next year.
