DKK 121m diabetes centre finally approved
Parliament yesterday voted in favour of accepting an offer from the Novo Nordisk Foundation to set up a diabetes treatment/research centre in Tórshavn.
The Ministry of Health turned down the initial proposal from 2018; however, the new government resumed talks with the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and now the plan has finally been approved.

Since the initial talks in 2018, endocrinological disorders and diseases have been added to the research partnership between the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Faroese health ministry.
