Four people caught drink driving

Four people were caught driving under the influence of alcohol last night.

One was caught in Eysturoy, two in Tórshavn and the location of the fourth one has not been reported.

“It is unusual to catch this many drunk drivers in one night,” says a police spokesperson.

“But we know that there tends to be an increase in drink driving during the Christmas party season. This is something we’re keeping an eye out for.”
